Which cleanser is best for me?
Exfoliating Fruit Cleanser is meant to provide a deep pore cleanse while sloughing off dead skin cells, and provides some anti-inflammatory protection. However, it can be a little strong for drier, more sensitive skin types. For these individuals, there is Nourishing Daily Cleanser. For someone with skin somewhere in the middle, you can always use a little of both to create a milder form of the Exfoliating Fruit Cleanser.
How often should I exfoliate?
For most people, exfoliating twice a week is more than enough to keep your skin looking youthful and radiant. It is important not to over-exfoliate. Using too much pressure with a manual exfoliant or using a manual and chemical exfoliant together too often can cause your skin to become dry, irritated, and susceptible to infections. Typically, those people with oilier skin require more exfoliation, and they would use Exfoliating Fruit Cleanser every day, and use Micro-Derma Peel three times a week. For someone with dry, sensitive skin, they might use Nourishing Daily Cleanser every day and Micro-Derma Peel only once a week.
Do I apply Line Stop all over my face, like a serum?
No. Line Stop is a targeted treatment product and should only be used on those expression lines that you’d like to soften. The active ingredient, Argireline, affects the neuro-transmitters in the skin, slowing the speed with which your muscles react, which lessens the depth of the wrinkle. It is not to be as a full-face product. For face wrinkles from damaged skin, try Age Recovery Cream with Matrixyl 3000 to regenerate damaged tissue.
Which eye treatment is best for me?
That all depends on the issue you’d like to address. Perhaps you want both! Anti-puff Brightening Eye Gel is for puffiness and dark circles, which can be quite common for most people in the morning! If the problems you wish to address are those fine lines thinning skin around your eyes, try the Anti-Aging Eye Treatment. Don’t be afraid to layer them if both of these issues seem to apply to you!
What is so great about Vitamin C?
Vitamin C, when taken orally is used by the body for organ health. However, when applied topically to just the skin, Vitamin C has the power to slow the production of melanin, which lightens age spots. It promotes our body’s ability to produce new collagen and elastin for firmer skin. It is also a powerful antioxidant, fighting free radicals from damaging our cells.
How to peptides work?
Peptides are small chains of amino acids, proteins, the building blocks of all living tissue. When this tissue is damaged, it begins to look like a screen door with lots of tiny holes. Peptides act as the thread that mends these holes, making the screen functional again. Your skin is like that screen, the more holes in it, the more it sags in the frame. When treated with peptides, and the holes repaired, the skin functions normally again and hangs nice and tight on the frame.
Do I really need sunscreen?
Only if you want to slow the signs of aging. Our skin is bombarded every day with UVA, UVB and UVC rays. These rays damage the skin by breaking down collagen and elastin, causing wrinkles. They cause an overproduction of melanin, leading to sun spots, or worse, they cause the skin to stop producing melanin at all, leaving white blotches on the skin that cannot be repaired. These rays also react with free radicals on the skin, leading to cancer. So, yes, you really do need sunscreen.
